What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. I’ve spent the majority of my life consulting for other people, studying materials, analyzing ingredients in building products, auditing buildings, researching supply chains, and proposing alternative methods to offset carbon, lessen exposure to chemicals of concern, foster innovation, support local economies and make design choices that would protect our planet and the people on it.

But sometimes persistence isn’t enough.

I got tired of consulting from a desk.

I created A Greener Space Builds to be the action that I want to see in the world. The Greener Space Builds approach pushes the boundaries of conventional design-build construction by focusing on bio-/mineral-based materials and elevating the status of low-carbon construction.
