Anjanette Green

Owner

Anjanette Green is an Interior Architect and material specialist with 20 years of experience. She led a zero-waste building project in the Peruvian Amazon and has travelled the world researching and advocating for bio-based, low-carbon materials.

She co-authored the world’s first performance-based, continuous IAQ monitoring certification and Informed™, a software interface that maps chemicals in products for reduced health impacts.

She holds Auditor, Assessor, and third-party verifier titles. She is WELL Faculty and Materials Advisor. She is the recipient of the Living Future Hero Award and WELL Trailblazer Award.

Eduardo Barba

Instructor - Rammed Earth

Eduardo Barba is a craftsman and entrepreneur working with earth construction and bio-based materials. 

His practice combines hands-on building with systems thinking and bioregional design to develop scalable, low-carbon construction solutions.

He has worked on multiple rammed-earth builds as part of the architecture studio Hecho en Tierra, integrating prototyping and teaching.

Eduardo is co-founder of Manufactura, a digital fabrication studio exploring circular materials in Mexico City, and Bahía Bloquera, a compressed earth block (CEB) manufacturer in Puerto Escondido.

Miguel Vazquez

Instructor - Bamboo

Miguel Vazquez Camacho is an architect specializing in sustainable construction and bamboo design with focus on integrating ecological building systems with structural innovation. 

As founder of Mistikal Design and Siembra Arquitectura, he has led the design and execution of projects combining technical rigor with deep understanding of natural materials.

Miguel has developed and delivered hands-on workshops encompassing the entire design process; from concept and structural modeling, to full-scale construction. 

Miguel’s teaching style is one of collaboration, driven by a holistic approach which artfully combines sustainability, craftsmanship, and human-centered design.

Ashely Javogue

Instructor - Bagasse Panels & Plaster

Ashley Javogue is the owner of Zegreenlab Construction, Costa Rica. For 10 years Ashley has dedicated her time to creating one of Central America’s first agro-waste to bio-product manufacturing plants. Zegreenlab uses waste fiber from sugarcane mills, lime and natural pigments to produce low-carbon building products that stand up in extreme climates. 

She is the first Costa Rican manufacturer to attain the Declare Label from the Living Future Institute for her Bagablocks, Bagapanels and Bagacal products

To date, her portfolio of buildings span 30+ projects across Costa Rica.

For this project, Ashley contributes her practical experience using natural materials in complex building designs..

Roberto Valle

Project Manager

Roberto Valle is a PMP-certified program leader with over a decade of experience guiding cross-sector, mission-driven initiatives.

Working at the intersection of systems thinking, circular economy, and regenerative design, he brings both the strategic insight and operational discipline to turn ambitious vision into quality, lasting results. 

For this project, Roberto aligns the knowledge, expertise, and resources of instructors, participants, and partners, ensuring everyone is set up to deliver on the ground.

Laurel Chadzynski

Network Liaison

Laurel Chadzynski is a licensed architect, sustainability leader, and movement builder focused on accelerating adoption of healthy and natural materials.

Through her practice, LOOM&LEVER, she operates at various scales to nurture and support development of regional material reuse networks, and builds community with other industry practitioners who are disillusioned with 'Business as Usual' and want their work to be in service of something Greater.

Robert Green

Structural Engineer

Bob Green is a Professional and Structural Engineer licensed in four US States and has 60 years of experience.

As owner of Structural Systems Design, his portfolio spans decades and includes projects ranging from airports to a World’s Fair Expo pavilion.

With specialization in unusual structures in atypical environments, Bob has unique skills that have been vital for projects across the Pacific Northwest, the Inland Empire and abroad, including Mexico.

He is recipient of  awards for precut, concrete bridges, buildings and design use of masonry.

An avid mountaineer, Bob has summited Mt Fujiyama, Mt Rainier, Mt Shuksan and Mt Hood multiple times.

Santiago Caridad

Instructor - Rammed Earth

Santiago Caridad hails from Mexico City and is a licensed architect. He holds a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) from Huatusco, Mexico, and CAS Regenerative Materials Essentials from Zurich, Switzerland

As co-founder of architecture firm, Hecho en Tierra, Santiago’s designs use contemporary earth architecture to generate collective well-being in congruence with the habitat. Hecho en Tierra’s goal is to design aesthetic, functional and sustainable spaces that provide individual and social well-being, promoting a circular economy, while leaving minimal footprint on the planet.

Santiago has lead numerous social justice workshops, helping communities learn earth construction, after natural disasters and in areas of extreme poverty.
